Photopia^™ Photopia's direct integration into SOLIDWORKS makes it simple to design any type of forward lighting system, including traditional reflector and lens, HID, LED or Laser projection, and adaptive systems.

Type A IES Output

As you design your forward lighting, you'll be getting output in the industry standard Type A format and will be able to see forward intensity and forward lux diagrams at any test distances you wish.

Photopia will export a Type A IES file in the proper orientation for your design so you can share your results with colleagues or marketing. You can save all reports and plots as PDFs as well.

License Plate Illumination

Photopia includes a template file and special report to verify compliance with SAE J587 for license plate illumination for both vehicles and motorcycles.

The template file eliminates the need to setup the appropriate recording surfaces for each design, and the compliance report immediately updates with each raytrace, saving time during the design process.
